To the stupid comments from the haters:
I know these guys, and none of them ever had any inflated ego’s nor did they set out to make this film. It just happens that their friend was on tour with them and wanted to film it all. Not even their idea. And the film is about the failure of the band anyway.
The Screwtops are/were a great bunch of guys and in my opinion they were also a really good example of their genre and kicked ass on stage without pretense or effort.
Also as with anything on film — people are easily misrepresented due to the particular editing. If you knew these guys like I do you wouldn’t be so full of shit and so eager to make anonymous clueless negative comments.

You can always expect a few people to post comments that are both stupid and unnecessary. Johnny Wayne– I honestly can’t even say anything in regard to your comment (Molly Meldrum knows everything? Are you stoned?) and Billy Rose the film is about the struggle, the chase for success. We’ve seen a million films about bands we know who made it– we want the ones who haven’t! Why not? What happens– its a more untold story and at no point are the boys claimed to be successful. If you don’t like the story line that’s cool but don’t tear the characters and film maker up because you don’t get it. Oh, last but not least– screw the screw tops… I’m going to guess your an ex? Or a one night stand who never made it? Maybe a jealous friend? Or just a lonely fucktard? There is no reason to post a comment that holds no value toward ANYTHING. It wasn’t constructive, critical (of the proper sense) or well thought out at all. You should be ashamed you let you inner emotions and prejudice be written in a public forum.

I can hear similarities to Rail, especially the first track, but yeah it’s quite different. I’m liking it. Good sports putting all the tracks up for streaming too.
